Just Some Flowers

It's too hot to do much of anything here, the most ambitious thing I did today was cut the grass first thing this morning and take these pictures.    It's lucky they look as good as they do - it's getting pretty dry here, my rain barrel will soon be empty...

Beside an old stump is this one blueberry plant - if the heat ever dies down, I'll be out picking blueberries, just not from this little plant!!

Happy 4th of July to all my American readers!

  1. Hi Jill, Your flowers are beautiful! We have had temperatures over 102 degrees for the last two weeks. My plants are not doing well in this heat. Thanks for visiting and I am now a follower.

  2. Your flowers are pretty! Mine are taking a beating from all the heat, and also from too much rain! Nothing in moderation around here, lol!!

Million bells are my most favorite flower!! They survive well in the Florida heat and they come back every year!! Beautiful flower photos!!!

  4. Ooh My! What lovely hanging containers! Can't help feeling a little jealous of your 'too hot' weather. Still waiting for a bit of a summer here and torrential rain forcast for tomorrow.
