Children's books from way back have such cute illustrations - I bought these books over the past few weeks and just had to share some of the sweet images.. And because there's just a bit of red - I'm linking up with Rednesday. I'm linking up with Vintage Thingie Thursday as well - stop by both of these blogs for a visit...

This old book has seen better days, it's taped up and ripped, but just too cute, I paid $1.50 for a bunch of children's books, this book is copyright 1941, it says it's "cloth-like" |

I found this old copy at Value Village one day, I have the newer version, after reading both of them, I noticed that they changed two pictures in the newer version. This older cover is so much nicer than the new one but then anything Eloise Wilkin is beautiful. |

This one is in really bad shape - ripped, taped - it says it's "A Nice High Book - Easy to Hold", copyright 1948. |
