Good Housekeeping 1938

Yesterday I bought these two 1938 Good Housekeeping magazines off a local buy, sell and trade site many of you that read my posts regularly know that I really like to find vintage magazines.

One thing that I noticed when I was going through them last night, a lot of advertisements used cartoon captions, I'm going to share a few of those with you.  Click on any pic for a closer view.

There are very few colored ads in these magazines.

These two magazines are the oldest ones I've found so far - a Good Housekeeping magazine for 25 cents and for a much thicker magazine than we have now!!  Couldn't go wrong!!
