Pickins' were pretty slim this week, I went around to all my usual haunts - no Pyrex, no Vera scarves, no Eloise Wilkin books - but I spotted this and knew it was coming home with me. I've never purchased an electrical item at Value Village before, but I took the plunge and paid $5.99 for this....

A McGraw Edison Ice Crusher and it works!!! Turn it on, feed the ice cubes into the top, and out comes your crushed ice in the plastic receptacle at the bottom. I'm going to love sitting outside with my cool drink, full of crushed ice.... Don't you just love the bright orange??? |

Yesterday we had to make a trip to the landfill site or the dump, as we always called it. We backed in, I said, I'm getting out - I have NEVER brought anything home from the dump EVER - but, this is what I dragged home -what do you think? With a little fresh paint - it's going to look right nice!!!
