I'm Enjoying.....

These days I am enjoying my flowers...

My new wildflower book that Carla found for me...

Remember Judy Blume from our younger days?  She has a new adult book out, I read it in just a couple of days, it's the best book I've read in a while, now I'm binge reading her other three novels..next one up is Smart Women.  I probably read it years ago, but I don't remember it...

I might be enjoying this drink outside, if I'm out there reading...it's so good...

When we go to the US, we love to see  a sandwich in a restaurant served with potato chips, you just don't see that much here, so sometimes we do that at home.  I found these Red & White Potato Chips at Dollarama, I have never seen these Covered Bridge brand chips there, hey, they're made in New Brunswick, I've been to their factory store in my travels!!  They're perfect for Canada Day or any day at all!!!

I'm still SMASHing but Pocket Letters are catching on.. this is one I made and sent to Washington.  This shows the front, backs are usually always decorated and goodies stuck in between the layers.

Today I received this one from Texas..  I love it!!

And, this I enjoy every day...my user name on there is mackaypj, just in case you want to stop by.

Anything in particular that you've been enjoying lately?

  1. Looks like fun stuff.
    Between stressing over this
new job prospect and all the rain we've had
it's been rough but....I have been reading a lot
    for my book challenge.

  2. I have been enjoying my flowers too. I enjoy them even more because I won't see them bloom next year. My dad is a veteran gardner so I'll be posting tons of flowers in the months to come. Besides that I'm enjoying packing and making sure all my treasures make it safely....

  3. Potato chips are sort of rare up there?? I didn't know that. Yes, I remember Judy Blume from when I was a kid, but I don't think I ever read any back then. Gorgeous flowers! Neat pocket letters too! I've been enjoying the sun when we get it because it's been sooooooo rainy lately!

  4. Hi Jill, your flowers are looking beautiful. It's a pretty time of the year both in the wild and in the garden. We love chips with a sandwich but try to avoid them now due to the salt in them. ;( Covered Bridge chips are delicious. I'll have to look for this bag for Canada Day weekend since it's a special occasion. lol I've seen them at Winners and HomeSense before but not at the Dollarama. Enjoy!

  5. Your flowers are beautiful! Potato chips are still served with sandwiches in some places near us but now places seem to serve salads (potato, macaroni or coleslaw) more often (Rob)

    1. Thanks for liking my flowers!! Chips are such a treat for us, most times a sandwich at our house is either a salad or just the sandwich - chips are a fun addition, for special days!!!!

  7. Very rarely do we get a sandwich served with chips. The last time I remember, it would have been wavy chips. Yuck!!! We have them at home, but not as much recently. I guess I haven't served just a sandwich lately! Good for me!!! I prefer lightly salted Lays, Fritos and occasionally Bar-B-Que Lays. I live in southeastern North Carolina, but I was born and raised in Ohio. It seems like cold sandwiches might get chips, and hot sandwiches get french fries.

  9. Hi Jill!
Your flowers are gorgeous! You have a real green thumb, I over water everything. :(
My husband has read a lot of Judy Blumes books for children since he's an elementary school teacher, but I've never read any of her books. I've heard of them a lot but didn't know she had written books for adults too.
I love your pocket page and your pals too! Both are so darling, adore the vintage theme and images. I sure hope mine makes it to you before Christmas LOL. Happy weekend!
