My thrifting experience yesterday was probably one of the best I ever had, pretty close to finding the pink fridgie set which I blogged about here back in July, I thought that was pretty amazing, well, I had another day like that yesterday and it involved Vera scarves. I still can't believe I came upon all these scarves......
I came out of there with 12 Vera Neumann scarves - actually I found the dark one earlier in the day at the SA - and it was only 50 cents. |
This lady had some beautiful patterns |
These two are a bit frayed on one edge, other than that, they are all in really good shape, I think some were never worn. |
This one is my favourite! This brings my collection up to 135 Vera's and yes, I do wear some of them. |
I tried to take anything else that I thought would sell - 4 Echo scarves. I listed eight scarves on Tuesday, already 32 people are watching them, I'm hoping for big things!!! |
No signature on these, they're mod designs though , so they may sell |
These appear to be hand made scarves by Lillian |
An assortment of different brands, including an Oscar de la Renta |
My only other purchase for the day! Carla had this when she was little, a game that we gave away and shouldn't have - I've seen it a few times, I always tell her that I see it, why don't you buy it, she says, two weeks ago I saw it again, well, it was still at VV yesterday, so, now we have it!Today I'm linking up with Thrfity Things Friday - it's Diann's 100th Thrifty Friday post - that's a lot!! I'm also linking up with Share Your Cup Thursday - check out both of these great blogs. |
