This is Really Christmas Kitsch!

I now own the most kitschy Christmas thing I could ever hope to find!!!  Feast your eyes on this beauty..  Click on it so you can see all it's wonderful kitschy goodness!!

I spotted this on a shelf above the clothing at Value Village, I saw it from afar, I started walking very fast, just hoping that no one would put their hands on it before I got to it.  As you can see, I was successful and now it's mine!!  I know some people don't like knee huggers and I know there are a few of my readers out there who are going to go crazy for this!!!!

The guy on the top must have been holding on a bit too tight, the star is a bit wobbly, but that's easily fixable.

There are four elves around the base.

I don't know why I like these knee huggers so much, I don't remember them from my childhood, I know we never had any of them.

As you can see, it was a music box as well, I wound it a little and it would give off a little chime every few minutes but it's definitely not working.  It was made in Japan and cost $6.29 - I looked online and could not find anything like this, have you ever seen one?  It measures 18 inches from star to the base.

When I first spotted it, I thought about ripping it apart and using just the knee huggers, I'm not, it's just too cute the way it is!  This more than makes up for the $10 blue knee hugger that I didn't buy a couple of weeks ago!!

I'm linking up this fun find on Dawn's We Call it Olde ,You're Going to Love it Tuesday and Share Your Cup

I'm smiling! So happy for you!
I've seen very similar ones, but they usually have ONE elf...not 5! haha
It's just great! I'm glad you aren't taking it apart for crafting. It's too perfectly kitschy for that!

I love it and how great that YOU found it first!! I do love my kneehugger elves and I did have some as a child.

Now, that IS the true definition of Kitsch. I think it would make an awesome centerpiece for all your knee huggers. No way would I take it apart either. At first I thought it was handmade because it kind of looks like it which only adds to the kitschy-ness, don't you think?

I've never seen one like it either and you KNOW I love it! I wouldn't change it either. One time I found a red ladder with a couple of pixies and some greenery and it's still like I found it. I finally have a post ready for tomorrow showing the 1/2 of a pixie that I found awhile back! I've had such fun hunting for them this year! Sweet hugs!

Yup, I am green with envy! I DID have that very red one with that face when I was a kid and it got lost!!! I love those little guys so will keep up my search for him!

I'm sure that by this point in time it must be a 'one of a kind'!
I hope you don't take it apart - the whole is much better than the sum of its parts.

That is utterly amazing!

Unusual! Almost looks like something a crafter would make today with vintage finds. I have a green knee-hugger just like that one. A great-aunt gave it to me right off her tree many (many) years ago.

Too cute, Jill! I think is awesome. I have a knee hugger ornament my grandmother bought me when I was a baby, I'll put it on Instagram. It means a lot to me. Thanks for joining the "Olde" party - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com

A whole evening of blog hopping has landed me on your site for a first visit. What do I find? My Mother's centerpiece for every Christmas dinner that I can remember! You lucked into an extra elf....the little guy on the top is an add-on. BTW, the music box plays Jingle Bells. I hope you enjoy your tree as much as I enjoy mine!
