There wasn't much at the thrifts this week either - but I did find this ladybug Vera - $1.99 |
I wouldn't say this is the prettiest Vera I've ever seen, but it is one and it was only $1 |
These I am giving away |
A few weeks ago I found an old bread box at Value Village for $2.99 - took the door off and now it's a planter!!I'm linking up with Apron Thrift Girl, Flea Market Finds, The Penny Worthy Project and for the first time, Thrifty Treasures |
Don't you find it just gets like that sometimes. It's either a feast or a famine, and if you are going through a famine, its best to just look forward to when the feasting will start again. Because it surely will.
ReplyDeletelove your breadbox/planter! totally cool idea :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been pretty crappy in the yardsale business here, too. Estate sales have been okay, but there hasn't been a piece of Pyrex! I guess I really haven't found Pyrex at the thrifts lately, either. Ugh. I'm glad you rescued the little Verde. He appreciates it :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that you got the bowl for .10! Lucky You! Yes, what is going on with Garage Sales? I guess "older things" are becoming harder to find this way.
ReplyDeleteI love your bread box planter. Very creative!

Great reuse - the planter looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove the planter - great idea! The little books look cute.

the bread box planted up looks amazing, what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteAnd the pyrex for 10c..you cant go wrong there.

I'm loving the green bowl. What a steal,
ReplyDeleteSorry the yard saling has been slow for you this year; it's been pretty good here! I LOVE what you did with the bread box--now I'll be on the lookout for one myself!
ReplyDeleteI'd pick up any piece of pyrex for that price. Great find!
ReplyDelete10 cents?!?!?! That's incredible. Even though you seem to have hit a bump in the road thrifting...pat yourself on the back for a find like that! :)

Hopefully July will bring some more exciting sales. Still looks like you have found some good things. Best of luck.
