Just Some Flowers

It's too hot to do much of anything here, the most ambitious thing I did today was cut the grass first thing this morning and take these pictures.    It's lucky they look as good as they do - it's getting pretty dry here, my rain barrel will soon be empty...

Beside an old stump is this one blueberry plant - if the heat ever dies down, I'll be out picking blueberries, just not from this little plant!!

Happy 4th of July to all my American readers!

  1. Hi Jill, Your flowers are beautiful! We have had temperatures over 102 degrees for the last two weeks. My plants are not doing well in this heat. Thanks for visiting and I am now a follower.

  4. I love Million Bells. And you certainly seem to have millions of them. I love the fact that they come in so many wonderful colors and do well in the heat.

  5. Ooh My! What lovely hanging containers! Can't help feeling a little jealous of your 'too hot' weather. Still waiting for a bit of a summer here and torrential rain forcast for tomorrow.
