Some Christmas at Our House - Part 1

I found this old tin at the Salvation Army the other day for 50 cents!

An old candy tin I bought at an antique mall

Love this sign!
This pair is so cute!
I think this belonged to my great aunt - I just had it sent to me, thank goodness Santa made it in one piece!

My husband bought Santa in his long johns a few years ago.

These lights aren't orange - they're red!

A bowl of Christmas fixins'

I'm so glad I bought this bowl!!

Our tree!

I'm linking up to Rednesday at It's A Very Cherry World - you'll find lots of great posts with all kinds of red goodies over there - check it out...

  3. Perfect time of year for Rednesday! I'm not normally a fan of pyrex, but I'd make an exception for that one at this time of year, it's beautiful x

  4. That tin was a steal! All of your decorations are beautiful, but that Santa on his metal sleigh is really something special. I love vintage Christmas stuff!!!

  5. Many people disparage fruitcake, but I happen to like it, so the fruitcake sign cheers my heart!

    SOMETHING RED

    Something cherry, something blue,
    Something scarlet just for you;
    Something blazing as the sun,
Something red when day is done.

i love your bowl of "fixin's too ... (at first i though it was hardware ... my old eyes play tricks on me ...) it's a great idea to add bulbs.

  8. Love that sweet fruitcake sign. Your pine cones and bulbs looks right at home in the pretty Pyrex bowl.

  9. For some reason your tree reminds me of the trees I used to put up and decorate when the children were growing up....but no more. Only Charlie Brown’s tree with its one red bulb. Your little Santa reminds me of my youth as does the sign. This is such a sweet post. You did a wonderful job selection your photos. genie
