Naan Pizza - Easy and Tasty!
Homemade pizza is a great quick meal, but if you're like me, you don't always want to make your own crust. So, I discovered Naan pizza - it's way better, in my mind, than buying a ready made crust. And, so easy!!
I buy a 5 pack of Santosh Garlic Naan bread - one piece for each of us. Preheat your oven to 350, sprinkle a few drops of water on your Naan, then place on the rack for 2 minutes. Remove from the oven, spread your sauce, and your toppings - my standard toppings are turkey pepperoni, mushrooms, green pepper and mozzarella. Return to your oven for 8 minutes - that's it, your pizza is ready to enjoy. Give it a try, I think you'll like it!!
That is just a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so good! I will look for Naan bread!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this idea Jill. I remember making the Kraft pizzas in the box when the kids were growing up. We ate a lot of them over the years! I've never made pizza crust from scratch but my daughter does all the time. I may just try this one! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds yummy but not familiar with this crust.
ReplyDeleteNow I am hungry.

ReplyDeleteoh wow this has a hint of indian! hope u relished this heartily :)
ReplyDeleteI love the naan toasted with a bit of oil drizzled over it. Some stores that I know carry it are Harris Teeter, Aldi, and BJ's Wholesale. There is a 5 pack for around 4.00. And they make a rectangle piece for making pizza, etc. There is plain and garlic flavored. I learned about it my first trip to an Indian restaurant. One of my favorite foods now.
