We went to visit Carla yesterday, this is what I picked up from that trip-a Perkins Pancake House side plate, probably from the 60's - it set me back 25 cents. |
Can you imagine buying mustard in this little jar now? There's a bunch of colored toothpicks inside, I'll just leave them there. The little jar is only 3 1/2 inches high |
I paid $4 for this chopper/measuring cup. I think it is made by Dominion Glass as it has a "D" in a diamond on the bottom |
50 cents for a Vera |
I'm wondering if anybody has seen a jam pot like this? My great aunt gave it to me when I was a little girl - I've always loved it and just brought it out for display once again. There are no markings on it as to where it might have been made...Today I'm linking up with Flea Market Finds, The Penny Worthy Project ,Thrifty Treasures and Thrifty Love |
I love that mustard jar. Since it's so small, I'd have to buy a dozen of them to keep up with my family. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents always bought mustard in very small jars. I think they liked to replenish it with fresh mustard sooner rather than later. Love the Vera scarf! I haven't found any recently.
ReplyDeleteLove that jam pot, it's great!
ReplyDeleteThat mustard jar is cool! I like the jam pot too. I have never seen one before.
ReplyDeleteCool finds Jill! I think my favorites are the little mustard jar and the chopper. I had a similar chopper that I gave to Ryan a while back. You seem to always find a Vera scarf and yesterday was no exception, lol! I've never seen a jam pot like that but it sure is cute!

ReplyDeleteHello Friend-
ReplyDeleteGreat finds. I like that chopper, and the blender looks cool against the kitchen backsplash! You always find Vera in that cool pointy shape...I always find square ones. Odd!
Erica :)

ReplyDeletegreat find on the blender! i love when that happens. we had been talking about buying a juicer, then found an unused one at a yard sale for 10 bucks!
