Red for Rednesday - It snowed here yesterday, it looks nice with Dad's old red sleigh and his snowshoes which also have a speck of red - those are my skates and here I am on a pond with Dad - I have been converting all the old slides to the computer - pretty well my whole childhood is on these slides - it's an emotional thing to do but great fun to see the old pictures. |

I really loved this post! You're so lucky to have your Dad's sled and snowshoes, and to have that picture of the two of you on that frozen pond is just icing on the cake!

ReplyDeleteI grew up ice skating here in northern Wisconsin. Lately I've been wishing I had a pair of antique skates for decoration purposes and a brand new pair to use for skating!
