I wish the water companies could somehow switch to "water in a bag", because I hear that there is a huge amount of them floating together in the ocean!★Carol★https://www.blogger.com/profile/18048131510779563893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715897712494065853.post-71459007039165835222013-02-27T05:01:38.287-05:002013-02-27T05:01:38.287-05:00It took me a few months to realize that bagged mil...It took me a few months to realize that bagged milk is not sold in Newfoundland! Im not much of a milk drinker, so I wouldnt be buying bagged milk anyway, too much to go through. NL used to sell bagged milk apparently, Ive seen the milk bag holders at value village before. Haha. We only can buy milk in cartons 1 and 2 litres. The cost of milk went up here very recently, and we have to pay a deposit (which we DONT get back). Growing up my family bought bagged milk always, after my Grandmother passed away we took her mlk bag holder, it was a heavy ceramic thing with a detailed train design, it was quite a sight! It was def vintage, but I think it was dropped and broke a few years back. I found sometimes the plastic bag wouldn't get into the holder properly and the milk would flop and spill. We've used 2 litre cartons for years now as there is only the two of us and we use very little. The cartons have a nice capped spout which is really convenient and all recyclable. I lose my 5 cents deposit but not worth the trip to town to the recycle plant. The bag jug is cute. About time they came out with something fun.Pamela Gordonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18071092617682650349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6715897712494065853.post-51374318332878061512013-02-26T15:58:28.852-05:002013-02-26T15:58:28.852-05:00CRAZY! I would be happy to buy a bag if it was cheaper. The lowest price on Vancouver Island I can find is about $4.50 for 4 litres on sale.
