Mom's Crumb Cake

I haven't made a crumb cake in years, this is one of Mom's old recipes - it's such a basic recipe, so easy , so tasty and smells so good when it's cooking.  This was the first time I ever made a cake in my round Pyrex Pink Flamingo Cake Pan, I like it!!!  I'm linking up with the Weekend Potluck at The Country Cook and also Strut Your Stuff at Six Sister's Stuff

Crumb Cake

2 cups flour

1 cup white sugar

3/4 cup butter

Mix together, remove 1/2 cup for topping

Add:

1 cup sour milk(use 1 tbsp. vinegar to make sour milk, let sit for 5 minutes)

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. cloves

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. nutmeg

1 egg

1 cup seedless raisins

1/2 tsp. salt

Sprinkle reserved 1/2 cup of crumb topping on top of cake.

Bake at 350 for approximately 45 minutes.
